Tashlich Service for Monday, September 30, 2019 @ Fairbanks Park

Student Rabbi Remy Liverman will officiate a Rosh Hashanah Tashlich service at 3 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2019, on the fishing pier at Fairbanks Park, 1110 Girlscout lane (First and Oak streets) in Terre Haute.

Congregants will throw bread in the water to symbolically cast off their sins.

  • 5:15 p.m. (approximate time) — Yizkor
  • 5:45 p.m. — Concluding service and Havdalah

Shabbat Services for Friday, January 29, 2021 @ United Hebrew Congregation Virtual Sanctuary

Betsy Frank will lead Shabbat services via Zoom conference at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, and help us celebrate Tu Bishvat, the birthday of the trees.

Betsy writes, “the virtual oneg will feature Tu B’Shevat-themed foods. Bring one or more of the seven species, including wheat, barley, olives, grapes, pomegranate, figs and dates.”

Student Rabbi Caitlin Brazner, originally scheduled to lead Jan. 29 services, will officiate Shabbat services on Friday, Feb. 5.
