Wabash Valley in Solidarity called the rally in response to individuals distributing white supremacist flyers Monday in Terre Haute and reportedly in Paris, Ill.
The event page reads:
“This rally is in response to racist and anti-Semitic flyers recently distributed in Terre Haute and Paris, Ill. Join local organizations including Candles Holocaust Museum and Education Center, the Inter-Faith Council of the Wabash Valley, the Sisters of Providence, Indiana Women’s March, Indivisible Indiana 8th District, Social Action Committee of the First Unitarian Universalists and others to stand up and say we all belong here.
“We’ll be on the east-facing steps of the courthouse at 5 p.m. Bring a sign. Let’s inspire one another to take concrete action to show our neighbors and friends that we mean what we say: #LoveWins and #NoHateInOurState”.
