Havdalah service for Saturday, October 11, 2025
Please join Steve Turetzky and Lee Winter for Havdalah — a quick and meaningful way to close Shabbat together and welcome the week ahead.
This week, the event will be hybrid — both remote via Zoom and in person at the UHC sukkah, starting at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025.
Weather permitting, we’ll gather outdoors to enjoy the sweetness of the season under the stars.
If attending in person, feel free to contribute a simple dish to share. Lee will be bringing a crock of lentil stew!
Services will continue on a twice-monthly basis.
- Follow along with the Havdalah siddur (service booklet).
- Watch an introductory video.
Review this previous Havdalah reflection.
Find out why this Havdalah is especially meaningful, enjoy a few holy songs, and close Shabbat with an uplifting communal ritual.
Contact us for a Zoom link and to receive updates via the Havdalah mailing list. Send an email or Facebook message or use our contact form.
You are invited to bring:
- A braided candle (or any candle you have)
- A small cup of wine or grape juice
- Something fragrant for spices — cinnamon, cloves, or a spice blend
See you there!
