Havdalah service for Saturday, September 27, 2025
Please join Steve Turetzky and Lee Winter for Havdalah on the Shabbat that falls between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur — a quick and meaningful way to close Shabbat together and welcome the week (and the new year) ahead.
The remote service will begin via Zoom at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, and run 15-30 minutes.
Services will continue on a twice-monthly basis.
- Follow along with the Havdalah siddur (service booklet).
- Watch an introductory video.
Review this previous Havdalah reflection.
Find out why this Havdalah is especially meaningful, enjoy a few holy songs, and begin the new year with an uplifting communal ritual.
Contact us for a Zoom link and to receive updates via the Havdalah mailing list. Send an email or Facebook message or use our contact form.
You are invited to bring:
- A braided candle (or any candle you have)
- A small cup of wine or grape juice
- Something fragrant for spices — cinnamon, cloves, or a spice blend
See you there!
