Student Rabbi Kylynn Perdue-Bronson will officiate a Rosh Hashanah Tashlich service at 3 p.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017, on the fishing pier at Fairbanks Park, 1110 Girlscout lane (First and Oak streets) in Terre Haute. Congregants will throw bread in the water to symbolically cast off their sins.

United Hebrew Congregation Terre Haute will host Shabbat Shuvah services at 7:30 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2017, at Temple Israel. Kylynn Perdue-Bronson, UHC's student rabbi for the 2017-18 academic year, will officiate. An Oneg Shabbat will follow in the Vestry Room.

Betsy Frank will officiate funeral services at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, at Highland Lawn Cemetery, 4420 Wabash Ave. in Terre Haute, for United Hebrew Congregation member Tanna Srulovitch. Tanna died Monday, Sept. 25, at age 59. A reception will follow at Temple Israel.
