Sisterhood will end the summer break a carry-in lunch and meeting at noon Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018, in the Vestry Room at United Hebrew Congregation.
President Patty Lewis will draw a raffle ticket to determine the winner of a 9 x 4-foot afghan, white with teal stripes and made of soft baby yarn.
Raffle proceeds will help fund Sisterhood events throughout the year. Contact Norma at the Temple to purchase tickets for $1 each or six for $5.

Temple Sisterhood will meet at noon Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the new Meadows Cafe in Meadows Shopping Center, 2800 Poplar St., No. 25, in Terre Haute.
This will be Sisterhood’s last second-Tuesday meeting until March 2019.
Sisterhood will resume its regular second-Tuesday meeting schedule with a 12:30 p.m. lunch on March 12, 2019, at the Fly-IN Cafe at Terre Haute Regional Airport.
The kitchen shower drive continues, so bring your contributions — dish towels, cleaning supplies and similar items — to the meeting or UHC.
